Nations Community Restoration, Inc. is an officially known nonprofit organization. Our mission is to uplift the standard of life of the helpless families. Our beneficiaries are victims of domestic violence, homelessness, unemployment and calamities. We do assist refugees rebuild a fulfilled life, in the United States and abroad. Our goal is to help reduce hunger and homelessness, and build healthy lives within families and communities We strongly believe in the total man, soul, spirit, mind and body. We believe that we all have the mission to heal the brokenhearted all around the world. We the members of NCR, INC are conscious that a change can occur efficiently, one individual at a time, so that we all can build a strong and fulfilled society, one family at a time. Jean-Marie Sumo served two Diplomatic Missions in Cameroon, the British Embassy and the Consulate of the United States of America. He also developed a caring ministry in hospitals and prisons. After the closing down of the Douala US Consulate in 1993, Rev. Sumo took his wife and moved to Washington D.C. Elizabeth joined her husband in the service of the Community, feeding the hungry and sick people at Public Hospitals. They fostered 14 children taken from desperate single mothers, for over three years, before they left their country to settle in Washington D.C. Very quickly, the Sumo couple developed a well known Free Food Distribution and Homeless Restoration Program. They served the homeless and low income families on Georgia Avenue Washington DC for 8 years. They were members of the Capital Area Food Bank Advisory Panel until they moved to Dale City Christian Church in Virginia. February 2002, They went to serve as Assistant Administrator, and Chief Financial Officer with Dale City Christian Church and Academy, Woodbridge, VA, for 6 years. They relocated to Atlanta in July 2009 to establish their International office and operations. They launched the Feeding the Homeless Program in downtown Atlanta, in partnership with Safehouse Outreach, Inc. They are not only missionaries, but also service the needy community. Rev. Sumo and his wife's lives are great experience and testimonies that would edify anybody who is seeking some encouragement in the challenging world we live in today. Mrs. Sumo serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the Corporation. She holds 2 Master of Science Degrees, one in Accounting as a Comptroller of Finance with Strayer University and a second Master of Accounting and Financial Management as a CPA with Keller School of Management. She is a licensed Tax Professional with the State of Maryland, and she is the Financial Director and CFO of NCR Accounting and Financial Services, LLC., DBA NCR Tax Services. Mrs. Sumo is a missionary from Cameroon her native country and she has traveled around the world sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ, praying for the sick and feeding the needy families. She is a mother, a counselor and an intercessor for the people of God. Dr. J. Nnaemeka Onwuta, M.D. The Chairman of the Board of Directors | Interventional pain management J. Nnaemeka Onwuta, M.D., is board certified in anesthesiology and pain management and serves as the medical director of Advocate Good Shepherd’s Interventional Pain Center. In practice for the past 15 years, he is a member of the Advocate Medical Group and has offices in Algonquin and Barrington. He received his medical degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine and did his fellowship in pain management at Cook County Hospital. He is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Practice, the American Academy of Pain Management, and the American Society of Anesthesiologists. Dr. Onwuta is a delegate to the Illinois State Medical Society and is the former president of the Kane County Medical Society. Dr. Guy Parfait Songue Board Member/ Africa Operations First and foremost a preacher of the Gospel and spiritual healing instrument of God, Apostle, Dr. Guy Parfait Songueholds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Madison at the Madison International Institute & Business School. He has been a lecturer of Political Science since 2007 at the University of Douala, Cameroon. He is the acting CEO of Repères Consulting, Cameroon, and a season coach in personal development. As a Political Strategist, Dr. Songue is endowed with many talents in several bodies of knowledge including political sciences, communication, epistemology, psychology, sociology, Egyptology. He is the author of several books. Dr. Songue is a recognized Honorary State Senator of the State of Louisiana since April 2008, as well as an Honorary Mayor-President of Baton Rouge, LA. As a preacher, public speaker, revivalist, author and businessman, Rev. Sumo has held several management and advisory positions, always seeking as well to uplift the standard of life of the hurting people, as to develop nationwide projects, before he established Nations Community Restoration, Incorporated, to take over the ever-growing social works from his local church, Christ Disciple Mission Church in Washington DC. Former bilingual Translator and Interpreter, former Branch Manager of DHL Courier Service in Cameroon, former Commercial Assistant with the British Embassy in Cameroon, former Commercial/Economic Adviser with the Consulate of the United States in Cameroon, former Pastor of the Christian Brothers Community Church in Cameroon, Pastor and Organizer of Christ Disciple Mission since 1994 in Washington DC.
